In light of this news, I will no longer be playing songs from music artist Chris Brown in any of my sets. This kind of behavior against ANY woman is unacceptable and shameful. I am asking everyone to send a clear message that this kind of behavior is unacceptable. There is no excuse for what he did to the talented music artist Rihanna.

I had the pleasure of looking at the newly released skins from Rage Skins and Accessories and several of us met up with Andred Qinan who is the co-designer.

The skin I selected from the demos was Dimitri - Cocoa/Stubble. I must say that the demo made it difficult to choose but the demo really didn't do the skin justice. It is a shame that demos have to have all the markings on them to prevent thievery in SL but if you can look beyond this the demo will help.

The skin itself is incredible. And I've bought skins from all over SL and tend to wear just one or two different ones. This is a skin I will definitely wear. The shadings on the skin are very realistic and the veins show perfectly on the muscular areas of the avatar.

The stomach area of the skin on my avatar looks extremely well done and highly defined. The face area is very well done as well with little details that look incredible on ulta graphics mode.

Andred said "we've been working on this skin for the last month." He condintued, "this is with two people working on the skin with hours of ten to 16 hours per day." Diarmuid Miklos is the primary designer of the skin and between the two of them they put in a lot of hours based on real life pictures.

The skin is truly a work of art and I would highly recommend that you take a look at this new release. Again, the demo does not do this skin justice but you will be extremely pleased with the full product. There is also a shape that comes with the skin which I did not try as an added bonus.

The skin is a very good price too at only $L950 so you not only get a top quality piece but you get it at a price that is well below some other skins.

CLUB RAPTURE ANNOUNCED BY POPULAR DJ SHEPHERD

Nov. 4, 2008 - It was announced today by Rapture Publications C.E.O., Aeschylus Shepherd, that Club Rapture has been created and will be opening to the public on Saturday, Nov. 22, from 6 to 9 PM, with a special invitation-only opening for Rapture Club Circuit members on Saturday, Nov. 8, from 6 to 9 PM.

Members will receive a LM to the club location on the day of the event. This will be the exclusive club for the very popular DJ Aeschylus Shepherd, who will continue to work two nights each week at BLU Dancebar in North Halsted. DJ Shepherd will be the featured DJ at both the exlusive members preview as well as the grand opening for the general public.

The club will be open mostly on the weekends and for special events such as the Rapture Club Circuit events that are held monthly. The club can also be rented for private parties and special events. In addition, the specially created club, with its distinct design and open feel, can be used for fashion events.

Hello everyone! I am thrilled to announce that the JUNE ISSUE of Rapture Magazine is now available through the Rapture Distribution Kiosk system! I will send out through the Rapture group in the morning when I can think of something clever to write. This issue is filled with a lot of artiles about fashion, music, and people and some events we were able to get coverage. Unfortionately I was unable to get everything I wanted in to this issue and we were already 48 hours behind schedule. We also have announced where and when the next Rapture event will be and who will be featured there as well. Hey Everyone! I have decided to finally kick off a new blog! I will be cataloging all my events and things that are going on. Thanks for taking the time to read this! As a Second Life DJ I have the opportunity to really bring the music I love to hear to audiences from around the world. Just like the Internet, Second Life provides a venue unlike anything else online.

If you haven't heard of Second Life or want to hear me at one of my gig's sign up and learn more! Just like in real life, we have Clubs and venues that preview DJ's like myself and others. I have made lots of good friends and always have the best time possible! I'd like to think I am doing my part in creating a great time and entertaining the crowd! As always, I take music requests.

Most of the music I play are club, house, techo, and trance. Of course I can play anything request if I have the song. I spend quite a bit of my own money each month buying new music, but well worth it since it is music I will play a lot and often! I have been asked endless times if I DJ in real life, and yeah, I am that good that people think I am! But I have not done a real life DJ gig just yet. But I know if given the chance I can definitely do it. I will have to get a CD together soon and see if I can shop it around.

Until that day, you'll get to hear me in Second Life. I pretty much have a event every day of the week at times. I have also done several Second Life Fashion Shows! Yes, you heard me! Fashion Shows! I was also part of the first fashion show at Second Life's Bellagio, the Prima De Eleganza.

There is a lot more to tell you but I will save it for another blog entry!
